1977 XS650D Café
This bike was 5 years in the making. Mileage shows 11,403. The powder coated frame and engine numbers do not match. In place of the original engine is a completely rebuilt unit with $1,400 spent just on parts. I have the paperwork. It runs like new, literally. New wire loom. The front end is a rebuilt adjustable fork from a special, front tire is like new, rear tire is new. Brakes are fresh with a new higher leverage master cylinder, braided stainless brake hose, blacked out Supersport handlebar, beautiful and comfortable hand made café seat, gold on black urethane PPG paint, and rorty exhaust. This bike has about 15 miles since the building was completed. With a larger 18 tooth countershaft sprocket and 120/18 rear tire cruising speed is increased for all day riding. A lot of money was spent on this bike.
